I wanted to reach out and give you an update on Scottie. She has become much more confident and comfortable on our walks. She doesn’t bark at every car and bike (only the loud trucks sometimes). She has made many dog friends that let her get her silliness out. She is much more comfortable with guests and even going to new houses. She has been really enjoying her weekly walks with Kirstin. We have been working on recall with a long line and she is doing very well. I wanted to thank you for providing me and my family with the skills to help Scottie.

We worked quite a bit with Sandy group training and on parallel walks with our very anxious Puppy Luna (especially after our older dog passed) and doing private training with Luna and our older dog Penelope before she passed. […T]his video of Luna, off leash on the beach, coming when called, and generally living her very best life. I didn’t imagine Luna’s anxiety would ever get to a place we could work off-leash but Sandy really gave us the tools and it’s just so amazing and heartwarming. I am so happy for her. Highly recommend Sandy for private training sessions! She is a kind, compassionate, and caring individual who will go above and beyond to help you and your dog. We engaged Sandy earlier this year to help introduce our highly reactive older dog to our new puppy. Sandy delivered a clear and easy-to-follow training plan to help us prepare our senior pup for the new arrival, and additionally gave us lots of bonus enrichment ideas to improve quality of life for our senior. We would never have thought of these ourselves and were so grateful, as taking care of a senior pet comes with so many challenges. We also appreciated that Sandy made things easier for our senior pup by conducting the sessions at our home, and the many kind follow-ups she sent to check on our progress and answer questions. I’ve learned so much about how to help my sensitive English mastiff through fear free & positive reinforcement training… the specialized training and certifications really show, truly experts in animal behaviour. Working with Sandy in particular was amazing & she helped me understand how to empower help my dog build confidence through positive reinforcement & providing choice to help with fear. Simply one of the best in the industry. I love how each staff member is vetted, obtained professional certifications, and provide the best for their clients by providing force-free, fear-free, and positive reinforcement based training which is a modern, humane approach to dog training. (As opposed to “balanced training” or training with aversive tools such as shock/choke collars or fear/intimidation)
We have brought our puppy Flan here for puppy classes with Sandy Wei, and we were so thrilled with the education we received. You can seriously tell Sandy is extremely talented at what she does and she makes classes super enjoyable and easily digestible for everyone. We have enrolled our puppy in the next Manners Advanced class and trust that they will provide the best training and knowledge to us possible.
If I could give them 6 stars, I seriously would. When I had a negative encounter recently with a stranger who spouted unsolicited, damaging advice and then proceeded to physically hurt my dog and made her scream (!) – I reached out to Sandy and they provided me with the support and it really makes the biggest difference in the world having that help when I needed it. The ladies are some of the best people in the world and I am truly grateful for them.

Amazing experience! Nobi and I have done 2 private lessons and a teen manners class and wish we could give this place more stars! Sandy Wei is an incredible trainer, who listens, is encouraging, and gives thorough advice on our particular issues. She also modified the class we went to (instead of kicking us out) when Nobi became too vocal and pushy towards the other dogs (all he wants to do is play play play till the cows come home, the monkey).
